Naked Lace Details
Utterly romantic and soft, lace set on a nude underlay made a big appearance in bridal this season. Rivini, Reem Acra and Watters all included this pretty lace treatment in their collections.
Crop Top Wedding Dresses
Daring as they might sound, ball gowns with a hint of the midriff were all over the bridal fashion runways. Theia, Elizabeth Stuart and Houghton showed off some serious stunners.
Lattice Details
Designers are adding a look of netting or a basket-weave design into wedding dresses for a style that's unexpected yet timeless. Angel Sanchez, Monique Lhuillier and Inbal Dror designed dresses this season with lattice details, both large and small.
Light-as-Air Skirts
The classic wedding gown gets an ethereal upgrade with added layers of tulle and silk. Reem Acra, Christos and Marchesa each highlighted this skirt style.
Dresses With Capes
Coverage with a serious fashion upgrade hit the runways this season. Angel Sanchez, Mira Zwillinger and Watters included pretty cover-ups in their collections.
Silvery Gray Wedding Dresses
Painterly pastels and metallic are hot for wedding reception décor, and bridal fashion designers are using them too. Look to Theia's, Monique Lhuillier's and Inbal Dror’s new lines for ideas.
Column Beadwork
Think layers and rows of beading -- done vertically. Bonus: The result elongates the body and has a slimming effect. Jenny Packham, Ines Di Santo and Peter Langner all layered on the embellishments in their collections this season.
Dropped-Waist Wedding Dresses
A lower waistline gives you the best of both worlds: You can show off your curves and wear a full skirt. Kelly Faetanini, Zac Posen and Amsale are just a few of the designers who showed off the trend this season.
Embellished Backs
We're totally obsessed with the idea of highlighting the back of the dress; it’s both unique and utterly romantic. Designers Christos, Alberta Ferretti and Naeem Khan featured pretty wedding dresses with beautiful embroidered or lace applique backs.
Plunging V-Neck Wedding Dresses
Sexy made a comeback this season with the deep V-neck wedding dress design. Check out Ines Di Santo's, Houghton's and Carolina Herrera’s latest lines for some stunning gowns with plunging necklines.

Top Looks to Make Up for Any Weddings
In every woman’s life, there must be some moments for her to exhibit the ultimate glamour and beauty. For those moments, Inspiring beauty is definitely the key to standing out among others. Thus, it is quite important to choose the beauty looks that is suitable for you.
Center Parted Sweep + Rosy Lips
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley strikes the right balance by slicking her hair half-back (trick: pat on serum for extra shine before flat-ironing) and swiping on a petal pink lipstick that’s just bright enough to draw attention without being too flashy.
Sleek Top Knot + Big Lashes
When the invitation is black tie formal, take your look up a notch like Kate Hudson. Gather hair into a high ponytail and wrap the length around the base, minimizing any frizz with a shot of hairspray. For big, fluttery lashes that last all night, apply a lash primer to build volume before coating on super dark mascara.
Cascading Waves + Silvery Eyes
For a soft and feminine look like Freida Pinto’s, mist on shine spray before blowing hair out with a large round brush, twisting back a section above your ear and pinning in place at the nape. Choose a mercury eye shadow with a hint of sparkle to catch the light.
Breezy Chignon + Bold Brows
To capture the wind-swept texture of Camilla Belle's look, spray dry shampoo through strands and lightly back-comb pieces around the crown. Then channel an Elizabeth Taylor glamour moment with dark, well-groomed brows.
Retro Roll + Radiant Skin
Reese Witherspoon goes classic Hollywood with a sculpted look that still feels modern, thanks to the deep side-part. After applying gel and molding hair into a wave in front, coil up the back and secure with a U-shaped pin. Keep skin fresh and matte with translucent powder to avoid any excess shine in photos.
Sultry Side Braid + Defined Eyes
Joan Smalls dresses up a simple fish tail braid by sweeping it to the side and lining her eyes on top and bottom in aquamarine. The end result is striking but not too over the top.
Slick Updo + Bright Lip
A wrap-around shape can transform a basic updo like Emily Blunt's into something spectacular. Minimize frizz and maintain control by patting on ample amounts of clear styling gel. And a bright pink lip lends a youthful glow to your skin, so don't be shy about it.
Bejewled Headband + Nude Lips
Slipping on a statement hair accessory elevates simple waves, as Jaime King proves. Mist on shine spray to add an extra touch of luxury and go for a nude lip that won't compete for attention but keeps you looking polished.
High Updo + Monotone Makeup
Loose volume is what makes Scarlett Johansson's updo so appealing. Work mousse through damp hair and blow-dry upside down to build body before raking hair into a bun or twist in back. Contour your eyes with liner and shadows in different variations of the same color for an understated but elegant effect.
