Pink has so many personalities. Take this pretty blush hue for example, more sophisticated than saccharine. What I love about this shade is how it’s still soft and romantic, yet also feels luxe. Plus depending on the colors you pair it with it works for a variety of seasons: blush and ivory for spring; blush and sage for summer; blush and brown for fall; and even blush and silver for winter.
Contemporary brides can still be romantic in their look! It’s all in the fabric – color and texture. Choosing a bridesmaid dress in soft fabric and a pretty pink automatically makes the look feel romantic. Add a contemporary metallic strappy sandal to give the look a little more edge. Choosing a traditional bridesmaid bouquet in peonies mirrors the soft texture and design of this bridesmaid dress and ties the whole look together.
Contemporary-romance-elegant. This waterfall dress is lovely and makes a statement immediately with it’s soft flowing fabric and dress design. To add contrast to the look add a pair of gladiator-style, muted metallic strappy sandals. This keeps the look trendy, and still ultra-romantic. We chose a bouquet in all pink peonies for this look to mirror the fabric and design of the dress. Any peony or larger soft-petaled floral bouquet would work beautifully with this bridesmaid dress choice.
This one-shoulder dress keeps it simple, pattern on patterned fabric with muted icy blue peep-toe heels is a fun way to introduce blue to your wedding palette. Keeping the bridesmaid bouquet in similar pinks allows for the introduction of the additional color (blue) in this bridesmaid look without making it look disconnected.
This is really a wonderful post.
